Years in the making, Low Country Cooking: a Southern Cookbook is the first release of a series of fun projects from Charleston Native, Ashley Ohlinger. She began helping in the kitchen at the tender age of five and has put together a collection of recipes that reak of her childhood in the South.
If you're not already there, head down to South Carolina and smell the salt of the marshes fused with pine, and taste the fresh picked blackberries, and meaty pecans.

She has added tips and time savers that will make entertaining a cinch for anyone. There are entire no-brainer menus for all occassions, and down South, that includes a Pig Pickin' and an Oyster Roast. And, the gift section is a delightful change of pace.
